Apparently in 2006/2007 when I was busy doing whatever I was doing, this little beauty from Marc Jacobs popped up. I saw my first one this summer while in Chicago for Pitchfork Music Festival and almost had my boyfriend go over and club the girl who was carrying it and steal it for me. Of course that didn’t happen but I did make a mental note to look for it when I got home. Unfortunately I forgot but was reminded on Monday when I saw ANOTHER one walking around town. I went on a mission. Unbeknownst to me (because it both situations, all that was visible was the signature) was the “collab” with PanAm so my google image searches were proving quite fruitless. Then I was reminded of an episode of Gilmore Girls in which Rory buys Lorelei a true vintage PanAm bag, which was the second time this week GG has helped me in everyday life proving that it is one of the best shows ever. Bing-bang-boom, I found it. They’re all sold out everywhere of course but I’m hoping to find one on eBay!
