About
I find things I want, but will never have.Following
An early Christmas gift to all who share the same passion for expensive, classic, and fashionable items as I: the new Sex and the City 2 teaser trailer. And as a true homage to a one, Ms. Carrie Bradshaw (aka Mrs. Big), a pair of fierce Manolo Mary Jane pumps. As if I could wish to own something so perfect…
I will admit it: I am a product of my yuppie surroundings and secretly love Lacoste. Not enough, I don’t think, to spend a ridiculous amount on a polo to wear with my collar popped in high school, but seeing pictures of my parents from the early eighties wearing Lacoste polos with THEIR collars popped make me feel nostalgic, even though I wasn’t born yet.
Anyway, these watches are really attractive, I just wish they had larger faces (as I am a TOTAL sucker for over-sized watch faces). I am particularly a fan of the one on the right, “Biarritz,” but could do with a little color also.
Alright: Christmas is exactly a week away and while my present has already been bought, I’m still at liberty to make a fantasy wish list.
Item One: this fucking fab Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. Admittedly, I am a MJ worshiper (as will prove evident, if it hasn’t already, by subsequent posts of other products showcased in the Nordy’s catalog), and this bag speaks to me in all the right ways. Oak Brown; oh my god I could die you’re so gorgeous (as is the Spinach, Moss, and Cranberry). So C. Cringle, give Mr. Jacobs a ring and pick one of these up for me. Thanks!
Yes, Married to the Sea, thank GOD it’s Wednesday.
Also, thank god for the hilarity that is Natalie Dee/ Married to the Sea/ Toothpaste for Dinner comics. I think in the wake of the sudent influx of monies (thaaaank you graduation!), I may finally order a couple shirts from this lovely comic making couple. My favorites: “My Personal Area” & “I’m so Adjective I Verb Nouns!” (it really speaks to the english major I wish I was). And, of course, the aforementioned “TGIW” is a fave as well.
I promise soon I will get back to posting REAL stuff that I want but can never afford. I’ve got the Nordstroms holiday catalogue dog-eared to the max!
I figured that since it’s December and my lips are in a constant state of chapped-ness, my return to Shopperist would be with this little gem!
EOS (evolutionofsmooth.com) Organic Lip Balm is fabulous. I’ve seen it in a few trashy mags recently, and I’m gonna pick me up one soon! Summer fruit looks like the tastiest, but there is also honeysuckle honeydew and sweet mint, and at $3.29 a piece ($9.99 for a gift bag) they’re perfect! And if the cute sphere package and delicious flavors weren’t enough, they’re all 95% organic and 100% natural!
This handcrafted jewlery tree I found over at Etsy is a much cuter alternative to the ones I’ve seen in Urban Outfitters and other stores. Plus, the seller makes like a half dozen different colors and finishes.
So awesome!
